See the progression of Jill's work over the years in her dedication to art
En Plein Air
French for "in the open air".
En plein air is the act of painting outdoors. This method contrasts with studio painting as you are met with other challenges like weather, bugs, and people.
This being Jill's favorite art form, you'll find many of the art pieces below were created from plein air painting.
Portraits
Jill loves making special events, well, special. Custom artwork brings a practical meaning to gift-giving for your special event.
Whether you're painting in watercolors or using another art medium, portraits are considered one of the most difficult subjects in art, especially when it comes to getting a good likeness of the person you're painting.
You may see a few of her portrait pieces below.
Children's Books Illustration
Children's book illustrations are the images that accompany the text in children's books. These usually depict key scenes in the story where the book moves along in its plot, usually through the experiences of the main character.
Jill has illustrated children's books and is currently working on getting them published. You may see a couple of pieces she has done for them below.
